Rep. Williams Honors Retiring Congressman Neugebauer

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Roger Williams (R – Austin) recently honored his friend, colleague and fellow Texas Congressman Randy Neugebauer (R – Lubbock), who will be retiring at the conclusion of the 114 Congress in January. Congressman Neugebauer has represented Texas' 19th congressional district since 2003.

The following is an excerpt delivered by Williams on the floor of the House of Representatives last week:

"Congressman Neugebauer is a voice of reason," said Williams. "He has valuable firsthand knowledge of how the private sector works. He understands how Washington's decisions affect Main Street. That empathy is crucial to conducting good policy, and it is rare. We could use more lawmakers like him."
