Last week, I had the opportunity to recognize the famed Bluebonnet Belle C47 Skytrain on the House floor. Designed and built in 1944, it flew more than 75 missions during WWII. The Highland Lakes Squadron purchased the Belle in 2002, and it has called Burnet, Texas its home ever since.
