Williams reacts to another Obamacare delay

February 10, 2014

Today, the White House announced its latest delay in the implementation of the President's healthcare law, delaying the employer mandate for a second year. Congressman Roger Williams (RTX-25) issued the following statement after the announcement.

"While this is welcome news for the thousands of employers who are still trying to figure out how to keep their businesses afloat in spite of the burdensome Obamacare mandate, this is pathetic leadership on the President's behalf. He has unilaterally altered this law so many times it doesn't even resemble its original form. This attack on businesses must end – from forcing employers to cut hours and employees, to the new definition of full-time employment – President Obama has proven time and again that he doesn't know what it takes to run a successful business. As a business owner of 42 years, I welcome him to begin a conversation with a true job creator about the disastrous effects Obamacare and his economic policies have on millions of hardworking taxpayers."
