Pro-Life

I am proud to call myself a Christian and conservative leader. Life is a precious gift that begins at conception, and during my time in Congress, I've worked to protect the most vulnerable among us, voting at every opportunity to defund Planned Parenthood and prevent federal funds from being used in the barbaric act of abortion.

Some of my work to protect the unborn includes:

• Co-led H.R.271, the Defund Planned Parenthood Act, which restricts federal funding for Planned Parenthood, or any of its affiliates.
• Co-sponsored the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (H.R. 21), which establishes affirmative federal protection for babies who survive an attempted abortion.
• Voted in support of the One Big Beautiful Bill which halts forced tax-payer funding of Planned Parenthood and abortions via medicaid.
• Voted in support of Amendments to the NDAA that roll back Biden’s dangerous and illegal Department of Defense abortion travel policy.
• Cosponsored the Life at Conception Act (H.R.772), commonsense legislation that would require protection for the pre-born under the 14th Amendment, which grants all citizens equal protection under the law and prevents them from being deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.
• Co-led H.R.599, the Protect Funding for Women’s Health Care Act, which prohibits federal funding for Planned Parenthood, or any of its affiliates.
• Cosponsored H.R.427, the SAVE Moms and Babies Act, which prohibits the FDA from approving any new drug intended to terminate a pregnancy.
• Co-led the Protect the UNBORN Act (H.R.407),which prohibits the implementation of and funding for President Biden’s pro-abortion Executive Orders.
