President Trump Visits TX-25
It was an honor to welcome President Donald Trump to the 25th District last week as Louis Vuitton opened their new facility in Johnson County. This is exciting news for our community as the 100,000 square foot facility will eventually bring 1,000 new jobs to the area and will pay more than $26 million in wages. We have a rich manufacturing heritage here in Texas and I am proud to have these products marked "Made in the USA!"
President Trump's "America First" policies have spurred greater economic growth than we've seen in decades and have restored confidence in our private sector. In fact, September's jobs report showed that there were 136,000 jobs added to the economy and our unemployment rate at only 3.5% – its lowest level in five decades. These are the results of renewed investment in the United States, and I will fight to keep this momentum moving forward.
In case you missed it, I joined Brian and Hal on WBAP radio to discuss the President's visit and our thriving economy under his leadership. Click here to listen to the interview and see below for photos of the event.
