Congressman Williams Addresses Clifton Rotary

October 11, 2018

CLIFTON, TEXAS – Congressman Roger Williams (R-Austin) spoke with local Clifton Rotary members this afternoon to provide an update on tax reform and business legislation. Rep. Williams was also able to discuss improvements that were made in Tax Reform 2.0, that just passed through the House last month.

"It was great to be in Clifton today with local community leaders and workers to discuss what matters to them. American families, individuals, and small businesses face hardships every day due to burdensome regulations, and I appreciated them sharing their concerns with me," said Rep. Williams. "These folks expressed the adversities they've faced knowing their financial future was uncertain, and I was excited to inform them that the House voted to keep their tax cuts permanent, rather than let them expire in 2025. I am thankful to represent the people of Clifton in the 25th District of Texas, and I look forward to continue fighting for them when I return to Washington."
