Congressman Williams Announces Winner of the 2024 Congressional Art Competition
WASHINGTON, D.C. - On Wednesday, Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25) announced Ariani Curran, of Kennedale High School as the 2024 Congressional Art Competition Winner for TX-25. Each year, students from across the country compete in the Congressional Art Competition for an opportunity to have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. Congressman Williams selected Ariani's artwork titled “Clouds Over the Brave,” which will be showcased this fall.

1st place - “Clouds Over the Brave” by Ariani Curran, from Kennedale High School.
"I am proud to have Ariani's artwork represent Texas' 25th District in the U.S. Capitol for all members of Congress, visitors, and staff to see. Her piece truly captures our nation’s patriotic spirit." said Congressman Williams. “I was impressed with the talent our young artists showed in this year's competition, and I am confident in the bright and creative futures that these students have ahead.”
Second and third place winners’ art will be displayed in Congressman Williams’ district offices.

2nd place - “Construction” by Gianna Demetres from Godley High School.

3rd place - “Texas with a Splash of Color” by Jolie Hutton from Cross Plains High School.
