Congressman Williams Attends Cleburne Lions Club

CLEBURNE, TEXAS – Congressman Roger Williams (R-Austin) spoke with local Cleburne Lions Club members this afternoon. As a small business owner for his entire working life, Rep. Williams was able to discuss legislation and regulations, such as the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. They also discussed improvements Rep. Williams hopes to see as Congress begins to debate Tax Reform 2.0.

"Each time I visit Cleburne, Texas, the folks here are always just as friendly as before. I had a great time talking with the members of their local Lions Club about legislation that matters to them, and what they'd like to see in Congress moving forward," said Rep. Williams. "We share the same priorities such as making tax cuts permanent for all Americans and continuing to slash taxes for small businesses so that they can continue to thrive in this prosperous economy. I appreciated their willingness to share their stories with me and I look forward to working on their ideas once I return to Washington in September."
