Congressman Williams Statement on the Passing of Billy Graham

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Congressman Roger Williams (R-Austin) released the following statement on the passing of the Reverend Billy Graham:

"I was saddened to hear of the passing of Reverend Graham. I once had the opportunity to meet and pray with Reverend Graham along with former President George H.W. Bush. As someone who has witnessed the presence of God, I can attest to the power of His love that was all around us that day. Reverend Graham dedicated his life to his faith, choosing to actively spread the word of Jesus Christ to over 200 million people throughout his 99 years on Earth. He inspired the world, and it is my hope to preserve his legacy by continuing to spread the word of the Lord and show love and compassion to everyone I meet."
