Congressman Williams Tours Burleson F-Wave Facility
BURLESON, TEXAS – Congressman Roger Williams (R-Austin) visited with local Burleson small business, F-Wave, this afternoon to meet with the staff and tour their facility. As a small business owner for his entire working life, Rep. Williams was able to discuss the impact the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is having not only on their business, but their employees as well.
“Businesses like F-Wave are a vital part of our Burleson community. In addition to providing great jobs, this company brings a sense of pride to the community,” said Rep. Williams. “It was great to meet with the employees earlier today, and hear their ideas for how we can work harder for them in Washington. F-Wave is a wonderful company that is doing extraordinary things right in our back yard, and I look forward to their growth for years to come. I’m glad I was able to see their facility, and I am proud of the work they are doing in our district.”
F-Wave CEO and President Scott McDonald made the following comments:
“We really appreciated the opportunity to host Congressman Williams and showcase how F-Wave is reinventing steep-slope roofing by applying new technologies and a new way of thinking that puts the contractor first with our REVIAtm Synthetic Roofing Shingle,” said McDonald. “As a small businessman and homeowner, the Congressman understands the importance of a roofing product that is intelligently designed, easy to install, and built to perform - including resistance to hail damage.”
