Rep. Williams Appointed to the Future of American Freedoms Task Force
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25) announced his appointment from House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy to serve on the Future of American Freedoms Task Force, one the conference's top initiatives led by Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jim Jordan.
"The future of America is under attack by an army of liberal activists led by Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and President Joe Biden, who will stop at nothing to drive their socialist agenda and strip away our freedom and liberty," said Congressman Roger Williams."That is why I am grateful to Leader McCarthy for putting his trust in me to help restore American ideals and faith in the Constitution, the rule of law, and freedom of speech. In order to preserve the freedoms and rights of the next generation we must take action and not just oppose Democrats' radical agenda, but rather lead the fight against movements to defund the police, repeal the Second Amendment, encourage revisionist history, and cancel anyone with a conservative point of view."
