Roger Williams Honors Operation Hero Guard in Burleson

AUSTIN, TEXAS – During a constituent meeting at Grumps Burgers in Burleson this week, Congressman Roger Williams (R-Texas) presented a framed American flag to Operation Hero Guard – a group of armed citizens who have stood post at U.S. military recruiting offices in Johnson County after an attack on a U.S. military recruiting station in Chattanooga, Tenn. that killed four marines and a sailor.

"This is my way of thanking those who have taken it upon themselves to ensure the safety of our men and women in uniform who defend this flag and what it symbolizes," said Williams.
