Williams Addresses West Austin Rotary
AUSTIN, TEXAS - Congressman Roger Williams (R-Austin) spoke with the local Rotary District 5870 members this afternoon to provide an update on tax reform and business legislation. As a small business owner for his entire working life, Williams was able to discuss improvements he hopes to see as Congress begins to debate Tax Reform 2.0.
“Being a small business owner, I know firsthand the trials and tribulations hardworking Americans face as a result of a burdensome federal government. It was great to meet with community leaders a part of the West Austin Rotary about issues such as this and hear their concerns,” said Rep. Williams. “These folks shared their experiences with me regarding the historic Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that was passed last December, as well as improvements we all hope to see in Tax Reform 2.0. It is of the utmost importance that we make tax cuts permanent for all Americans, and I will continue to fight on behalf of Texas’ 25th District until we achieve just that.”
