Williams Visits with Central Texas Veterans Health Care System

August 7, 2018

TEMPLE, TEXAS – Congressman Roger Williams (R-Austin) visited the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) this afternoon to meet with leadership and employees, and to tour their facility. Rep. Williams was briefed on the current state of the CTVHCS, and discussed legislation and regulations that will impact veterans' healthcare.

"As the representative for a veteran-proud community, I am glad I had the opportunity to meet with the leaders of Central Texas Veterans Health Care System earlier today. The work these folks do here is so important – just last year they had over 1.2 million outpatient visits," said Rep. Williams. "I will never stop fighting for our veterans. These heroes sacrificed a great deal in order to protect this nation and I will continue to support them in any way that I can. We must continue to hold the VA accountable and never stop working to make it better."
