Rep. Williams: Babin Highway Amendment ‘Crucial Link’ for Connectivity

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Roger Williams (R-Texas) spoke on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives in support of fellow Texan Rep. Brian Babin's (R – Texas) amendment to the highway bill that would designate 30 miles of existing freeway from Copperas Cove, Texas to I-35 in Belton as U.S. Interstate 14.

"This route is important for connectivity," said Williams. "It provides a crucial link to Texas military facilities, ports, metropolitan areas and existing and future interstate systems."
