Come and Read It Report

Feb 26, 2018

Dear Texans,

I had a great time last week traveling up and down the 25th Congressional District of Texas to meet with constituents from all over. I met with many small business owners and employees along the way, and had the opportunity to hear your ideas that I can take back with me to Washington. Here are some highlights I'd like to share with y'all:

Our local businesses, such as Austin Turf and Tractor, are an integral part of our communities, and it was a pleasure meeting the folks who work there. You can read more about my visit here.

Philips Lighting in Hays County took me on a tour of their facility and gave me a glimpse into their day-to-day operations. It was great to see everyone hard at work in our district.

I met with students from the University of Texas to discuss what the United States is doing for Israel. I also had the great honor of congratulating them on receiving AIPAC's Advocate of the Year Award. Keep up the good work and Hook 'Em!

Meeting with Bee Cave locals at All Star Burger was a great opportunity to meet with the business owners, as well as everyday constituents. It was good to hear everyone's ideas, and I'm excited to watch them flourish as a result of the new tax law.

Our district is lucky to have businesses like SACHEM, Inc., and it was good to be able to see their facility. Click here for more information on our visit.

It was great to visit P&P Plumbing in Cleburne, a family-owned small business, and hearing about how tax cuts are helping their business and their employees. Thanks for having me and sharing your stories with us.

In addition to providing great jobs, F-Wave brings a sense of pride to the Burleson community. I enjoyed meeting with the employees and hear what is important to them. You can read more about it here.

It is an honor and privilege to represent the people of Texas’ 25th Congressional District and as always, please reach out to me with any issues and concerns that are important to you.

In God we trust,

Roger Williams

Member of Congress
