The organization will receive $450,000 from the Grants for Outreach and Services to Underserved Populations Program and $650,000 from the Justice for Families Program.

AUSTIN, TX – Congressman Roger Williams (R-TX-25) today announced a $1,823,862 award for the Texas Department of Public Safety from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The funding is intended to be used for the distribution of test kits, deployment of personnel to complete various tasks, and testing coordination statewide. It also provides medical care and transportation by aircraft of COVID test samples to provide test results.
