The SVOG was authorized by the Congressman Williams' bipartisan Save our Stages Act, which was signed into law by President Trump on December 27th, 2020.

Today, Democrats steamed ahead with a partisan COVID-19 package led by Speaker Pelosi and Chuck Schumer at the direction of President Biden, who just weeks ago offered a pledge of unity and bipartisanship.

WASHINGTON, D.C. Congressman Roger Williams (R-TX-25) reintroduced the Ensuring Telehealth Expansion Act (H.R. 341) to permanently extend telehealth provisions in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Securities (CARES) Act. The legislation would also eliminate site restrictions for telehealth so that patients can receive care in their homes, and providers will be reimbursed at payment rates the same as face-to-face visits.
