We lost 14 innocent Americans that day — 12 military service members, one civilian and an unborn child. Since the attack, the Fort Hood community has received an outpouring of support from across the state of Texas and the nation. But not from the federal government.

On Monday, August 5th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Burleson Senior Center, U.S. Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25) along with Mayor Ken Shetter and the Burleson City Council, will announce their joint efforts to dedicate the Post Office facility at 232 Southwest Johnson Avenue in Burleson as the "Sergeant William Moody Post Office Building."

Our nation's immigration system is broken and in desperate need of reform. Any solution must have border security first, no amnesty, and reforms to our existing visa program.
