Dear Texans, Our pro-growth agenda is continuing to work for our economy. Just last Friday, the Department of Labor reported that 223,000 jobs were created in May - way more than economists expected. Also, we're continuing to see the unemployment rate fall. We hit 3.8% last month, and last time the jobless rate was this low, it was in April of 2000.
