We’ve had a busy few weeks back in Washington, but I wanted to recap our district work period during the month of August, where I visited every county in our 25th District and logged over 3,300 miles between nearly 70 events.
I am pleased to share some great news with you. The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) is expanding its services for veterans with two new clinics. One in Copperas Cove and one in Killeen.
I wanted to update you on the work I am doing to provide better care to our veterans in Central Texas. The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS), one of the largest healthcare systems in the nation, is growing rapidly and in need of additional resources to meet the needs of our veteran community.
It was great to be back home in TX-25 the last two weeks. Visiting with you – the constituents – is the best part of my job and is vital to ensuring that your ideas and voices are heard in Washington.
We covered over 1,800 miles during the recess period, hosting 26 events in all of our district’s 13 counties!
It's one of our favorite times of the year - high school football playoffs! In Texas, we know that means early morning practices, decking out in school colors, and braving the cold to watch our players leave it all out on the field for a shot at the state title.
